I took your VIP class and it was SO HELPFUL. Sometimes the written instructions just can't explain like actually watching it being done.....Just wanted to send you a pic and thank you for the course and how much I've learned from you - your blog, your books, your youtube videos and your video classes.

Thank you, Susan, so much for the workshop. I enjoyed it very much.
Being much taller than you I could have used a size extra large probably but with the traveling stitches wasn’t sure if I would succeed at making it look good. Anyway I am very pleased with it.

Just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed the VIP Sweater Workshop. It was such an absorbing project that I wished it would never end...Here's a picture of the finished product. It fits me perfectly. I made it on my old LK140 and it went flawlessly. I think it's a great idea designing the sweater so it can be made on any machine...I learned all kinds of little refinements to use in my knitting and I think your workshop was well worth the money. Between the manual and the videos, I had no problem figuring out what to do next.

What a fun project! I made the standard gauge version and I loved how the lace carriage did almost all the work.

I enjoyed making Susan Guagliumi's Traveling Stitch pullover so much that I decided to do it again as a cardigan. This time I did it on a mid-gauge so it was all hand-manipulated, but It's a fairly easy pattern to hand-manipulate. Plus with thicker yarn on the mid-gauge, there are fewer pattern repeats.

Your Instructor
Susan Guagliumi has taught machine knitting privately and for several of the knitting machine companies since the early 80's, developing a strong reputation as the "go-to" authority on hand-manipulated techniques. She is the author of four machine knitting books and has filmed three classes for Craftsy.com. In addition, during her tenure as Education Director for Studio by White Knitting Machines, Susan produced and appeared in several videos specific to Studio machines. A sought after teacher, in addition to classes all over the U.S., Susan has taught in Australia, Norway and England. Because these methods are neither brand nor gauge specific, they are suitable for all machine knitters, from beginner through advanced and her demonstrations are easy to follow in any language!
